What is the Campbelltown City Council Community Renewables Program?
Amidst rising power costs, access to cheaper and reliable energy is becoming more crucial than ever before. The goal for our our 2024 Community Renewables Program including a Solar Bulk Buy is simple – give homeowners access to affordable solar and battery solutions that save residents money and create energy resiliency in our community.
You will be helping Council deliver its vision of a climate-resilient and sustainable future through establishing a local renewable energy network that powers our community sustainably, and continues to create ongoing financial, community and environmental benefits to residents now and in the future.
Together we can create a people-powered renewable energy future and reduce our cost of living, lower emissions, and build community resilience.
When will the Solar Bulk Buy offers be available?
The Solar Bulk Buy will open in June 2024, when the exclusive bulk buy deals will be released.

Connecting your battery to the VPP pays you a premium rate for excess battery power that helps keep the grid stable.
